LAHORE Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) working in collaboration with Labor and Human Resource Department has created Punjab Job Centre, an online platform that serves as an interface between possible employers, employers, job exchange companies, people looking for jobs, workers, and the general public.
More than 12,500 users have signed up on the site since the beginning of August 2022. More than 8,000 jobs are advertised on the site. This was revealed during a review session chaired by PITB Chairman Syed Bilal Haider here on Wednesday.
The PITB Chairman said that the creation of a job center is an important step toward providing guidance to young people and aiding the search for employment. This will benefit not just the business but also employers.
The job portal online provides the most comprehensive database of current human capital that includes applicants and employers from both the public and private sectors.

Our company has developed solutions and systems that have had a positive impact on the health, Education, and Law & Order sectors of the province.
Additionally, the tremendous efforts of PITB in advancing better and more transparent mobile governance has been recognized globally too, as example: recently, the President of the World Bank was awed by the mobile-based governance improvements we implemented during the Bank’s Daylight Dialogue 2014 in the Philippines.
