PITB Develops Online Job Portal for Youth Facilitation

LAHORE Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) working in collaboration with Labor and Human Resource Department has created Punjab Job Centre, an online platform that serves as an interface between possible employers, employers, job exchange companies, people looking for jobs, workers, and the general public.

More than 12,500 users have signed up on the site since the beginning of August 2022. More than 8,000 jobs are advertised on the site. This was revealed during a review session chaired by PITB Chairman Syed Bilal Haider here on Wednesday.Chairman PITB

The PITB Chairman said that the creation of a job center is an important step toward providing guidance to young people and aiding the search for employment. This will benefit not just the business but also employers.

The job portal online provides the most comprehensive database of current human capital that includes applicants and employers from both the public and private sectors.

Punjab Information Technology Board PITB was created in 1999 and at the time of 2001, it came to the Ministry of Information Technology.

The Punjab Information Technology Board, an independent body established by the Government of Punjab, serves as the base for Punjab’s innovative economy. The Board intends to not only improve the governance processes by using transparency-based methods, but also enhance the level of digital literacy among citizens, in addition to providing other services. PITB is determined to efficiently and efficiently deliver IT services and infrastructure for the local government as well as international companies.
