Punjab Government School Education Department has announced winter vacations for all private and public schools in the province firstly vacations were announced from 24 Dec to 31st Dec 2022 but Now
The winter vacations begin on December 24, 2022, and will extend till 8 January 2023.
The 25th of December is also a day of rest to celebrate Quaid e Azam Day and Christmas celebrations. Teachers and students alike are on vacation throughout the winter break in Punjab.
Official Notification states that after approval by the Competent Authority it is hereby notifying that winter vacations in all public and Private schools in Punjab province Punjab will commence beginning on December 24, 2022, until 8 January 2023.
All schools (Public and private) will reopen on Monday 9 January 2023. This will be followed by the normal routine school week. However, the rules regarding the wearing of facial Masks within school premises will remain in place.

Winter Vacations 2022 in Sindh Notification
According to the initial reports, winter vacations in the province are scheduled to begin on the 20th of December in 2022 and will end on January 1, 2023.
The decision is said to have been made by the Department of Education’s Steering Committee. In addition, the Education Minister of Sindh, Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that following consultation with the sub-committee was decided that the institutions of education will resume operations on 2 January 2023.

Balochistan Govt Announces Long-Term Winter Vacations at all public and private schools located in winter zone districts/areas of Balochistan. Balochistan’s Education Department of Balochistan issued an announcement on the long-term winter holidays.
The long-term winter break will begin on the 16th of December 2022 and through 28 February 2023. the Director of Education ( Schools) Balochistan and the Managing Director of Balochistan Education Foundation ( BEF) are charged with ensuring that the guidelines are followed in spirit and letter.
