NTS Entry Test TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Candidates from all districts in Punjab are eligible to apply for the entrance test.
- Male and Female candidates may also choose the test center according to their preference selection. However, they have to specify their district of residence on the form for results generation. If married women are involved the results will be declared based on her domicile or husband’s domicile.
- Married female candidates can apply for a domicile change or against the domicile of her husband.
- The upper limit on the age of fresh candidates, including general relaxation in the age limit, as per the government policy is as follows the following
- Males aged 35-35 years.
- Female age 38 years.
- Disabled for 40 Years
- There is no further age relaxation to be permitted in any way.
- Age will be determined based on the date of birth as reflected on the Secondary School Certificate.
- The bonafide residents of Tehsil District are considered for selection for the post of AE0s/Educators.
- The married female candidate can be able to apply in accordance with the residence of her husband, or the domicile of her own. But, she can choose a testing center according to her preference. In this case, she must specify the district that will be the source of her score, which is likely to be one of the previously named districts where she is domiciled.
- Ex-Defence Forces Officers Personnel and Officers are entitled to the benefit of age-related relaxation within their maximum age of the amount of time they have served them, subject to a maximum age of 10 years.
- For candidates in service the duration of continuous service is exempt from the calculation of his/her age for the purposes of determining the higher age limit for the position, which includes general age relaxation that is available to new candidates.
Candidates in service must apply via the appropriate channels. Candidates from different Departments should also submit a Service Certificate issued by his/their Appointing Authority in addition to their Application Form. But, he or she can make an advance copy of the application via his/her direct office in the appropriate office, as per the policy mentioned in.
- The employees who are currently employed in the School Education Department, Government of Punjab must also submit their applications via an appropriate channel. Otherwise, the applications won’t be considered. However, they can make an advance copy of the application via his/her immediately located office at the relevant office in accordance with the policy mentioned.
- An applicant who is in service on appointment under contract shall not be entitled to pay protection.
- Candidates’ eligibility is determined on the basis of the prescribed academic qualification for each job.
- The screening test will be conducted by a panel of experts. those who are applying for the position of AEO must secure 60% marks, and for the position of Educator must score 50% marks in order to be eligible. If not, he or is not eligible to apply for the recruitment of the vacancies advertised by the Districts as per the policy . RESERVATION OF QUOTA: I. 3% of the total post allocations for each category of educators must be reserved for disabled persons.
- A District Official (Social Welfare) in charge of issuing disability certificates for the purpose of evaluating the candidate for a specific job, must also confirm that the applicant is suitable to teach and that the disability of the candidate does not interfere with the effectiveness of teaching at school or in co-curricular activities. iii. 5.5% of the total number of posts for each category of educators must be designated to Minorities (Non-Muslims).
- Tests will take place in all District Headquarters.
- Candidates may apply for multiple posts by submitting separate forms for each job with the appropriate fees.
- The paper’s sample will be available on the NTS Website www.nts.org.pk
- Candidates must present their original documents along with an attested copy of all relevant documents during the interview. If any of the documents are found to be false or fake, the candidacy of the specific candidate will be canceled.
- An incomplete application form in any manner will not be accepted by NTS.
- The age and qualification of candidates will be decided as at the beginning of the year 2023 according to the announcement from the concerned District Education Authority.
- The number of posts (Gender specific) will be set or increased by the relevant District Education Authority.
- Final Selection/Recruitment of candidates shall be made after detailed scrutiny of credentials by the concerned District Recruitment Committee.
- The candidates who pass the NTS entrance test (2023-2024) are required to apply according to the advertisement released by the relevant District Education Authority.
- District-specific, Tehsil-specific recruitment policy (2023-2024) for AEOs for Educators (Criteria or Scheme of Study for Exam course outline/Paper distribution) are available on the NTS website (www.nts.org.pk)
- The requirements in the policy will only be considered to be a prerequisite for the appointment of a particular post. If a question of equivalent qualifications is raised, only these qualifications will be evaluated as equivalent qualifications to be considered for appointment against a specific job or category of the post which have been declared to be equivalent to the Qualification Equivalence Determination Committee (QEDC) created by the Governors of Punjab pursuant to section 23 under the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974 i.e. it is the Competent Forum to consider and decide on cases of the equivalent qualifications for a specific job or post category.
- Since the study scheme i.e.BS (Honors) (16 years of education) is in use by these Universities / Colleges, therefore it will be deemed equivalent to Master’s Degree (16 years of education). However, it is expected that the BS (Honors) (16 years of schooling) will be offered in the subjects specified in the policy that is ibid.
- The applicant who is 3rd in any aspect of his/her educational career i.e.Matric or Intermediate Master, Bachelor, Master with a prescribed qualifications or any other prescribed qualification is not eligible to apply for the positions in the year (2023-2024) recruitment policy or similar.
- Results Cards from earlier NTS Tests shall not be applicable to the current selection.
- Qualifying for the NTS Entry Test is not a requirement for Educators/AEOs Job Confirmation.
- The Department is entitled to remove candidates in the event of ineligibility as per the recruitment policy (2017-2018).
