AFNS Online Registration 2023 Eligibility Criteria
As we have mentioned earlier as mentioned earlier, both trained and fresh applicants can apply for the position. The eligibility requirements for both kinds of applicants are as follows.
Trained Nurse as Lieutenant (Female)
- The age limit is 18-20 years old.
- You must possess a B.Sc. Generic Nursing Council, Midwifery, and Nursing Diploma. (PNC).
- You need to be enrolled in PNC.
- If you have dual nationality the person who is dual national must surrender one (the one from another country).
AFNS – BSc Nursing (Female)
- Your age should be in the range of 17-25 years old.
- The minimal requirement for eligibility to mark marks is 60% marks
Physical Standards
- The minimum height is 5 feet (152.4cm).
- Weight: As per Body Mass Index
Marital Status
- BSs Nursing: Female who is unmarried or widowed/ divorced/ separated with no encumbrances.
- Trained Nurses. Married/ Unmarried.
- Nationality: The citizens of Pakistan and those who are domicile holders of Azad Kashmiror Gilgit-Baltistan. On the day of final selection, candidates who have dual nationalities will be required to quit their nationality other than Pakistani.
Join Pak Army as Nurse AFNS Selection Procedure
1. Preliminary Tests
- It also includes written or personality and intelligence tests.
- Make sure to check the official site for the exam slip.
- The exact date of the exam will be noted on the exam slip or roll not on the slip.
2. Preliminary Selection
- The applicants will take a preliminary medical tests in Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
3. Further Selection Procedure
- Interviews with successful candidates conducted through the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board will be held in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi in which separate call up letters will be sent out.
- Candidates who are successful will be notified of invitations to interview.
- The final decision will be made at GHQ by analyzing the the candidate’s overall performance.
Additional Information About AFNS
Training Period
- B.Sc. Nursing: The student will undergo four years of education in AFPGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta and PNS Shifa Karachi.
- Certified Nurses: A six-week basic military training course at the AFGMI in Rawalpindi as well as at the CMH located in Kharian.
Note Note: The officer will become a Lieutenant after successful completeness of the training.
Bond
Candidates who are selected are required to agree to a warranty contract and join the Army for a minimum of 10 years prior to starting instruction in BSc Nursing.

What documents are required for AFNS Online Registration 2023?
To join the Pak Army in Armed Forces Nursing Service AFNS 2023 You will require original photocopies and copies of the following documents:
- Educational Certificate/Degree
- Domicile (Attested)
- NOC is required for those already working in the Government Sector
- (x3) Passport size photos (Front/Back)
- National Identity Card (NIC) (New)
- A postal order for Rs. 100/- was sent to the Director of General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi of the Pakistan Army.
How to register for Armed Forces Nursing Services AFNS 2023
Candidates can apply for a job on the Internet or visit Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs). The procedures to be followed will be as follows by two ways
1: Registration Through Internet
- A candidate can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk.
- The time and date of the test will be notified to the person’s email address.
- Candidates must report to the time and date specified for the preliminary test on the computerized rolling number slip.
- The date and time once provided cannot be altered.
- Candidates must also carry documents as mentioned in para 6.
- They will also pay the prospectus cost during the testing day. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of computers.
2: Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers
- Candidates can report to the closest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre to register or allocation of roll number with the required documents listed in paragraph 6 as well as the prospectus fee to complete of registration requirements.
- Candidates must have these documents with them at the time of their test too.
