How to apply for the GAT General and GAT Subject Test
- The website of NTS allows candidates to apply online.
- Open NTS online portal at the NTS website. (e.g. datacell.nts.org.pk)
- Login to NTS Online Registration Portal Datacell.nts.org.pk.
- Register as a new user if you are not already registered by clicking on a button register now by using your CNIC number.
- If you have already registered Complete the online registration form according to the instructions.
- Register for your preferred Test from the NTS Online Registration Portal.
- Select your desired Post.
- Choose your preferred test city. (Primary and Secondary Test Cities).
- After Choosing your test (e.g. NTS NAT, GAT General or Subject, its date, and the test center (e.g. Lahore, Islamabad).
- If necessary, fill in any additional information.
- Check the box at bottom of the web page to agree to the terms.
- To apply for the desired job, click on the Apply button.
- Download the “Bank Deposit Slip” and deposit The registration fee (i.e. Rs. 1150/- (One Thousand One Hundred & Fifty Only) for GAT general and Rs. 1650/- (Rupees One Thousand Six Hundred & Fifty Only) for GAT Subject via 1Link 1Bill Participating Banks/ATM/Internet Banking/Mobile Banking/EasyPaisa/JazzCash/TCS Express Counters.
- After this To complete your application, enter your bank deposit information online.
- You can send your original bank deposit slip by courier to the NTS office.

- Send no other document than the original deposit slip.
Note: If you already have an account on NTS Online Portal, you don’t need to create a new one. You can use your existing account to apply for the new test. You can reset your password by clicking the ‘Forgot Password link on the same online portal.
How to apply for the NTS NAT Test
There are two types of NAT tests
- NAT-I for students with 12 years of education
- NAT-II For students with 14 years of education
Only universities that are associated with NTS can take the NAT test. Associate universities may arrange NAT tests for their applicants or may require that students take the NTS test separately.
