Official notification from the Monitoring Wing of the Punjab Government Finance Department ( Monitoring Wing) announces that all Punjab Government employees and pensioners will receive their December Pay & Allowances and Pensions Friday, 30 December 2022.
Disbursement Of Salary And Pension On 30th December 2022 Notification
This decision was made Due to the 31st and 1st of January 2023 (Saturday) gazetted Winter holidays, and the 2nd and 3rd of January 2023 respectively. To avoid delays in disbursement, the Governor of Punjab is happy to announce that the pay and allowances as well as pensions will be released by 30 December.
The Punjab Government had earlier this month announced that the salaries and pensions of the Christian Community would be released on the 19th of December 2022 in order to celebrate the Christmas Event which will take place on the 25th of December 2022.
